Supper with grade12 and classmates

On December 30th, I went to the Mexico restaurant with some grade 12s and my classmates, the name of this restaurant is Tacos. I have been this restaurant 2 times before, but I didn't have some traditional Mexican food, just some pizza and beef. This time, I have known something about the Mexican style food. The restaurant is on Zhujiang road and on the top floor of the Golden Eagle Shopping Mall. We supposed to be there at 5pm, but I was late, I arrived at 6pm. And I felt a little bit sorry about that. They chose the restaurant because they had a special card and we could only pay half of the price. That was great and I ate a lot that evening.
Generally, the environment was good because we could listen to some Mexican music while eating. The colors of the walls were auspicious and made me feel comfortable. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara and that tasted delicious. I really liked that kind of noodles because it tasted smooth and savory. And the way to eat noodles was quiet different from Chinese way. We needed to wind the noodles around the folk instead of using chopsticks. Most of the people there were foreigners.
However, the service there was not perfect. I even could not imagine why they cook the dishes so slowly that we waited for about 40 minutes. We just sat there and talking with each other. And the most serious thing was when some of us finished eating, I still not got the food to eat. That made me very embarrassed. So everyone sat there and waited for me.
In all, I will recommend my friends to Tacos because the food was tasty although the service was not so good.

Wu weishan's Exhibition

Today,i went to the Wu weishan's sculpture exhibition with Ms Hadley and my classmates.Wu weishan is one of Nanjing's famous sculptor.His sculpture work "sleeping boy" got the Pangolin award.It was the first time of Chinese sculptor get this award.

During the visiting time, i found most of sculpture that Wu made is a kind of symbol,some of it have few details,give people a space of thinking,but some of his work looks very clear,people can know waht or who is in the sculptur,they have many details,like one sculpture is about a very famous Chinese Erhu(a kind of chinese traditional instrument) player named Ah-bin.

For my opinion, i like the sculpture looks more realistic,so i think the "Ah-bin" sculpture is the best of all his work.He makes the work have many details,especially on his face,make people feel this man is very pool,and the sunglass that he wears is the badge of this player.

I hope China will have more sculptor like Wu weishan stand on the stage of World,get more award of art.

At the end of the visiting,we meet the sculptor,we were very lucky because he was just come back from Shanghai by plane.He is very easygoing and generous,he gave Ms Hadley a book about the sculpture, he taught us a little knowledge about the sculpture.

The visiting is very interesting and meaningful,if i have chance,i will visit it again.
